On November 11, 2025, the Seventh Working Meeting of the General Assembly of NI ESHER was held at the Institute of Electrochemistry and Energy Systems of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IEES-BAS).

The meeting was opened by Corresponding Member Evelina Slavcheva, President of BAS, and Assoc. Prof. Plamen Nikolov, Director of IEES-BAS. The session was attended by international members of the Advisory Board of NI ESHER, as well as official representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science (MES).

The monitoring reports on the implementation of the work program were presented by Prof. Antonia Stoyanova, Chair of the Executive Board, and by the heads of the individual units. The ensuing discussion outlined the progress achieved under the project, as well as the short- and long-term vision for the strategic and scientific development of NI ESHER.

As part of the meeting, a visit to the Laboratory of Alkaline Batteries (Module 2) was organized.

On November 12, 2025, the program continued with a Scientific Session, during which researchers from various units presented their latest achievements through oral presentations and flash talks, showcasing the results accomplished using the research infrastructure of NI ESHER.

The meeting was held in a hybrid format, allowing participation both in person and online via the ZOOM platform.
