ESHER Reports Progress in Stage 5 of the Project “Energy Storage and Hydrogen Energy”
  • 2026-01-18

In December 2025, the National Research Infrastructure “Energy Storage and Hydrogen Energy” (NI SEVE) successfully completed Stage 5 under Agreement D01-349, reporting progress in the development and advancement of Module 2. The commissioning of key equipment, along with the implementation of two technological lines for gas diffusion and zinc electrodes, expanded the opportunities for innovative research, increased the technological readiness of the infrastructure, and ensured improved process control and high reproducibility of results.

Within Module 1, the provision of internal and external services continued. The modernization of the website and the optimization of service descriptions facilitated easier access for users and partners to the available equipment and expert capacity. Active research activities were confirmed through publications in leading scientific journals, as well as participation in national and international conferences and projects. The visibility of the infrastructure was further enhanced through participation in events related to the green transition and sustainable energy.

The achieved results highlight the growing scientific and technological potential of NI SEVE in the field of energy technologies and hydrogen energy. The international members of the Advisory Board welcomed the progress achieved and the vision for the further strategic and scientific development of the infrastructure.
